Say hello to 2024’s Medicare Advantage DHMO partners

Delta Dental has partnered with the following Medicare Advantage DHMO programs to provide dental coverage to members in 2024. Please note, plans marked with an asterisk (*) are wrap plans.

Here's what else you need to know about Medicare Advantage DHMO patients

Services for Medicare Advantage DHMO patients are only covered if you are part of Delta Dental’s Medicare Advantage DHMO network. Please check eligibility and benefits prior to treatment.
 

  • Some partners are changing the coverage available to your patients. Make sure to log in to Provider Tools to see the details.
  • The partners highlighted with an asterisk (*) offer wrap plan designs in addition to traditional Medicare Advantage plans. Delta Dental wrap plans in California are designed to provide covered services which “wrap” around Denti-Cal benefits. Wrap plan members must visit providers who participate in Delta Dental’s DHMO Medicare network as well as the Denti-Cal network. Please be sure to always verify your participation in a member’s network to confirm the member’s eligibility under their specific program. Codes listed in Schedule A are covered under the member’s Medi Medi Wrap plan with Delta Dental. Members under these plans should also be eligible for benefits under CA Medi-Cal Dental. You should submit a copy of this fee schedule with the claim form to CA Medi-Cal for benefits covered under that program to help expedite processing of the claim. Procedures not covered under Schedule A may be a covered benefit under the Denti-Cal state benefit the member. Please review covered benefits under Denti-Cal.
  • Some members may have Dual plans which include Medicaid coverage. Please let such members know they may have additional coverage beyond their Medicare benefits through Medicaid.
