VADIP FAQs

Delta Dental offers three types of dental insurance plans for Veterans:

  • Enhanced Plan: This is an ideal plan for those who need basic dental coverage. It provides essential benefits such as preventive care, including cleanings and exams, and diagnostic services with an annual maximum benefit of $1,000 per person. This plan covers basic restorative services, making it a good choice for Veterans who require standard dental care without extensive procedures.
  • Comprehensive Plan: If you need more extensive dental work, the Comprehensive Plan includes all the benefits of the Enhanced Plan, plus additional coverage for services like crowns, bridges, and dentures. The annual maximum is $1,500 per person, and there's no deductible for in-network providers. This plan is great for those seeking a broader range of dental services with higher annual coverage.
  • Prime Plan: For Veterans who need maximum coverage on major procedures, the Prime Plan offers the most extensive benefits. It covers everything included in the Comprehensive Plan and provides the highest annual maximum of $3,000 per person. This plan also has the lowest out-of-pocket costs, making it the best option for those who expect to need significant dental work.

If you have questions about your Veterans’ dental benefits, contact us at Delta Dental. For immediate assistance, call us at 855-460-3302. Customer service representatives are available Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Eastern Time.

VADIP provides affordable dental insurance for Veterans. These plans give Veterans comprehensive dental coverage that they may not be able to access otherwise. These dental benefits for Veterans ensure that they can get preventive dental treatment and major procedures at a manageable cost.

Please see policy for a complete description of plan benefits, limitations and exclusions.
