As of January 2026, Lane Health is not accepting new Healthcare Spending Card signups related to this exclusive offering.
This Open Season, employees choosing Delta Dental will get new expanded benefits with the excellent coverage already provided in FEDVIP dental plans.
New benefits for 2025 include:
The missing tooth clause is a common dental insurance provision that excludes coverage for replacing teeth that were missing before the policy’s effective date. This typically means no benefits for procedures like dental implants, bridges, or dentures if the tooth was already gone before enrollment. With Delta Dental’s FEDVIP plan, members are not subject to this exclusion. Coverage is provided even if the tooth was missing before enrollment, giving members access to prosthodontic services that are often denied under other plans. This change helps ensure better oral health outcomes and removes a barrier that previously left many without options.
These new benefits are in addition to the comprehensive coverage members already receive, such as:
Federal employees, annuitants and military retirees can choose from two FEDVIP plans to meet their and their family’s needs and budget: a standard plan, which is best for preventive routine dental care; and a high plan, which is best for people needing additional dental work.
