How much can you save with dental insurance? 

These examples show how individuals and families with different needs can save with PPO Premium or PPO Basic plans. The annual cost with insurance includes the premium for the plan for one year plus the discounted rates they would pay for services with an in-network dentist. Check out the difference — the plans can help you save money when you get care.

  • Graph 1 shows costs for one adult with two routine cleanings and exams and two fillings. The cost with insurance is $440; without insurance is $730, for a savings of 40% with PPO Basic coverage..
  • Graph 2 shows costs for two adults with a routine cleaning and exam, deep cleaning and teeth whitening for each person. The cost with insurance is $1,712; without insurance is $2,460, for a savings of 30% under the PPO Premium plan.
  • Graph 3 shows costs for a family of four who get routine cleanings, four fillings & braces for one child. The cost with insurance is $3,542; without insurance is $5,270, for a savings of 33% under the PPO Premium plan.
