Virtual dentistry offers members convenient access to a Delta Dental dentist for answers to questions, quick checkups, second opinions or other oral health needs in between visits to the dentist’s office.
How it works | Consult with a licensed dentist about dental or oral health issues via video visit or photo submission with an in-network dentist. Answer some questions about the reason for your visit, enter your insurance details, and a Delta Dental dentist can provide treatment recommendations, prescribe medication to patients with a video appointment and provide aftercare instructions through your computer or mobile device. |

All dentists available are licensed general dentists in our Delta Dental PPO network and able to help you with general dentistry and oral health concerns.
Yes.
You may receive a prescription at the dentist's discretion. State laws require that you have a video visit with a provider to receive prescription medication. If you're prescribed medication, it will be available at your chosen pharmacy. Prescriptions are not available for photo assessments.
Virtual dentistry visits work on any computer, tablet or phone with a camera and an internet connection.
