It depends on which plan you choose. Delta Dental individual PPO⁴ plans have waiting periods for basic (e.g., fillings) and major (e.g., root canals, crowns) services. However, diagnostic and preventive care services (e.g., exams, x-rays, cleanings) do not require waiting periods on any plans.
DeltaCare USA⁵ DHMO-type individual plans do not have waiting periods.
